Sample Boundary Survey with Spot Elevations
This is a boundary survey with topographic data included. This is a typical boundary survey which shows the property boundary, property corner monumentation, buildings, other improvements (sidewalks, driveways, etc.), plat easements, adjacent property information, and property line occupation (fences, sidewalks, etc.). This survey goes beyond the normal requirements and includes topographic, or elevation, information. At this scale it may be hard to see, but the small "tic" marks along the centerline of the road and around the property have elevation information attached. In this case, the elevation information was included because the parcel is water front property. The south and west boundaries of the parcel are canals. Here, elevation information is important to evaluate the risk of potential drainage and flooding problems which may arise.
