Sample Sketch and Legal Description
This is an example of a typical "sketch and legal description". While this is not a boundary survey, we handle many of our legal descriptions as boundary surveys. Here, we located a section corner and centerline control along the road, as shown. We also mapped the existing improvements on the parcels. Finally, we set corner monumentation at the easement corners. This goes far beyond what is required by Florida law for this type of survey. In many cases, legal descriptions can be written without even leaving the office. However, the utility companies we work for expect more from their surveyor, and we deliver.
